I was impressed with all of the thematic displays and variety. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of nice places to have a seat to look over a book or two. Three levels of books.

The Learned Owl is a wonderful little local bookstore in downtown Hudson! We were so grateful to the team for making sure our resident could get into the store in her wheelchair and navigate safely and comfortably. The staff is so nice and we love the offering of books and being able to support a local business. Thanks to everyone at the Learned Owl! 💕

Had been wanting to go here for a while, but rarely travel to or through Hudson. Finally had the chance over the weekend, and it was a delightful pit stop. I’d say that this bookstore has less curation than others, which just means more time for you to browse the bookshelves on your own. Amazingly, this place has three levels of books and is organized by genre. I left with a novel and a vegan dessert cookbook. Pleasant experience and well worth a visit!!

Nice little bookstore with a great variety of titles packed into a small space. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Staff is kind and knowledgeable. I’ll 100% be back to see what else I can find.

Three floors of local, independent, eclectic goodness! Solid range of kids' books, sci-fi, and other fiction. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great part of the Cuyahoga Valley experience.

What a wonderful book store, the place has charm, and the character of an old book shop, so many nice books, it’s clean and well organized. The associates were very helpful.

Your typical, locally owned, small bookstore. Friendly staff. Cozy environment. Good book options. The kids room was nice, especially with origami and mobiles from the ceiling that my infant loved staring at. Fair pricing. Some vinyl in the basement was a fun surprise.

I love the Learned Owl. The staff are always very kind and helpful. It's so wonderful to still be able to buy books in person, to get inspiration while browsing and to support a small business at the same time. It has been my go-to stop for presents on many occasions.

My experience has been positive. The owner of this bookstore runs or helps facilitate several local book clubs (how does she find the time??) covering a wide range of genres and topics. If you're interested in communing with local bookworms and getting more in-depth about the books you've read - this is your go-to-spot. All various book club details are on the bookstore website.

This is a fantastic little bookstore in Hudson. I absolutely love a good ol' bookstore with a cozy feel, and this one has that lovely element retained. My daughter loves her crochet book she bought.
